Come Get Our Votes

Someone, if not a coalition of someones, will lead an organized vote withholding campaign. If enough organizations are willing to play hardball, then Democrats will have to deliver material change for the mass of people—whether big donors like it or not.

There are so many organizations that could pull it off. My fantasy is that the Poor People’s Campaign makes such an impact this summer that they become kingmakers.
